This study has three main components: employee engagement, Psychological Capital (PsyCap), and organizational change. The goal of the study was to better understand what organizational and individual factors may contribute to an employee's perception of an organizational change, and provide insights of what improve change implementation success. A gap in the literature called for the development of a measure to evaluate individual perceptions of organizational change, and organizational factors believed to influence change success; the measure developed for this study is called the Sager-Thompson Change Inventory (STCI). The results of the study exploratory and preliminary in nature, and support further research around individual factors having a relationship to organizational change success perception. The STCI has the potential to be an adequate evaluation of one's perception of their organization's change implementation success, and organizational factors believed to influence change implementation success.
