Artificial Intelligence is being adopted by judiciaries and legal service providers worldwide. Within each country exists a unique phenomenon of Legal Artificial Intelligence (Legal AI) adoption. In writing this paper, the author proposes an Analytical Framework for Understanding Legal AI Adoption in Different Countries and applies it to Legal AI adoption in China and the United States. The Analytical framework is applied to each country in the form of an illustrative case study of current Legal AI adoption and prognosis for future Legal AI adoption.
