Organizations in a wide array of fields and disciplines are increasingly using design thinking as an innovative process to create products or services that address wicked problems in their industries. Design thinking, a method of creative and collaborative problem solving originating in the tactics of designers, is a product design and development process that is, more and more, being used as a tool to move innovation forward and structure creation processes in diverse disciplines, from product development to food creation to social science research. While design thinking has many forms and applications, this study uses a simplified version built upon the key themes of inspiration, ideation, and implementation as defined by Tim Brown, CEO of IDEO (2009), and situates it within the social science discipline. Through a distilled design structure, this flexible methodology can be combined with David Kolb and Charles Owen's organizational learning methodologies, as well as Donald Schon's reflective practice, to aptly address wicked problems. By embedding learning and reflective practices into the structure of design thinking, a hybrid model emerges that is a more effective tool for framing and solving these types of problems within teams.

520 $a Las organizaciones de una amplia gama de campos y disciplinas estan utilizando cada vez mas pensamiento de diseno o design thinking como un proceso innovador para crear productos o servicios que aborden problemas retorcidos en sus industrias. Design thinking, un metodo de resolucion de problemas creativos y colaborativos que se originan en las tacticas de los disenadores, es un proceso de diseno y desarrollo de productos que se utiliza cada vez mas como herramienta para impulsar la innovacion y estructurar los procesos de creacion en diversas disciplinas, desde el producto a la creacion de alimentos a la investigacion en ciencias sociales. Si bien el pensamiento de diseno tiene muchas formas y aplicaciones, este estudio utiliza una version simplificada basada en los temas clave de inspiracion, ideacion e implementacion segun lo definido por Tim Brown, CEO de IDEO (2009), y lo situa dentro de la disciplina de ciencias sociales. A traves de una estructura de diseno destilada, esta metodologia flexible se puede combinar con las metodologias de aprendizaje organizacional de David Kolb y Charles Owen, asi como con el reflective practice de Donald Schon para abordar adecuadamente los problemas perversos. Al incorporar el aprendizaje y las practicas reflexivas en la estructura del design thinking, surge un modelo hibrido que es una herramienta mas eficaz para enmarcar y resolver este tipo de problemas dentro de los equipos.
