Research shows that as students age their attention shifts from the focus of their teachers and authority figures to their peers. Coincidentally, students' requirements to participate in physical education become fewer as they make their educational journey to graduation. The importance of establishing positive classroom experiences for activity and health have an impact on students' lives that are carried into adulthood. The purpose of this study was to determine if there were significant differences between male middle school students' behavior and their attitude and perception of motivational climate of physical education. This quantitative analysis surveyed 152 male middle school students from a North Texas school district about their attitudes and perceptions of motivational climate toward physical education. The data show that of the students surveyed there were no significant differences between students' attitude and perception of motivational climate.
