This Doctor of Ministry Project report explains the process of establishing a missions partnership between Redeemer Bible Church (RBC) in Minnetonka, Minnesota and Carrigaline Baptist Church (CBC) in County Cork, Republic of Ireland. The project director researched the field of church partnership with a special focus on partnerships between a US-based church and an international church. A literature review and series of interviews with ministry practitioners led the project director to develop a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which he submitted to a panel of experts. The panel of experts consisted of three men: a church-partnership expert, global-missions expert, and an expert in Irish evangelicalism. The project director used the MOU to guide RBC and CBC to formalize their missions partnership. The completed project will provide a detailed account of the establishment of a formal missions partnership between RBC and CBC and will serve as a resource for other churches seeking to establish a similar partnership.
