This modified e-Delphi study gained consensus from a panel of experts on strategies, policies, and practices that support LGBTQ employees' sexual identity practices; including barriers organizations encounter during implementation. Two research questions guided the study: what is the consensus among a nationwide panel of experts on strategies, practices, and policies that support LGBTQ employees manage their sexual identities in the workplace? and what is the consensus among a nationwide panel of experts on the ease of implementing strategies, practices, and policies in the workplace to support LGBTQ employees manage their sexual identities at work? Participants were at least 21 years of age, had at least three years of experience in their field, and working knowledge of LGBTQ policies. Alpha's indicated good reliability for round one (α = 0.88) and acceptable reliability in round two (α = 0.77). The researcher used Spearman's rank correlation coefficient (rs) and 10 strategies, practices, and policies were identified that impact sexual identity management practices of LGBTQ workers including unconscious bias training, LGBTQ non-discrimination policy, and domestic partnership benefits. Three barriers were identified that impact organizations during implementation including ignorance and resistance from employees, societal norms, and religious, cultural, and political beliefs of employees. Recommendations for future research included new investigation and sampling techniques and studies on BTQ employees.
