This dissertation examined the relationship between Psychological Capital resources (Hope, Efficacy, Resiliency, and Optimism) and Authentic Leadership behaviors (Relational Transparency, Internalized Moral Perspective, Balanced Processing, and Self-Awareness) among the self-reported scores of 700 Rotary Club members from the Rocky Mountain Zone 21b-27 in the United States.

520 $a The research was designed to explain the predictive role of one's own psychological capital on one's own authentic leadership behaviors, while controlling for affective organizational commitment, age, gender, ethnicity, and tenure in Rotary. The results of the study found that, indeed, Psychological Capital, Affective Organizational Commitment, age, gender, and ethnicity were significant predictors of variance in Authentic Leadership in this sample. Tenure in Rotary was not a significant predictor of variance.
