This synthesis project was a result of several pilot annual, full-day Lasallian formation programs conducted at a Lasallian high school. The results of these successful pilot formation programs encouraged the author to create this synthesis project, "A Lasallian Formation Program for Coaches and Athletic Staff" that could be disseminated to other Lasallian high schools within the Region of North America (RELAN). The Lasallian coaching formation program has the potential to promote coaches' and athletic staff's ability to integrate the Lasallian charism into their vocational work. Athletic teams, as well as student-athletes, will ultimately benefit from their coaches and athletic staffs embracing and practicing Lasallian values along with contemporary best practices.
