This study was designed to determine the effects of a writing-across-the-curriculum program and the instructor and student perceptions of the program and the writing assignments. The purpose of the study was to help WAC program directors develop more effective programs, provide better training opportunities for instructors, and develop practical assignments for students with the goal of increasing comprehension and writing skills. Writing assessment scores, instructor perceptions surveys, and student perception surveys were used to analyze and the collected data.
