The purpose of this research study is to examine how multiracial women describe their own experiences with self-identification within the context of society's existing racial constructs. The study focuses on multiracial women within the United States. The research study was conducted through individual interviews with women from the ages of 25--32, of multiple racial backgrounds. Some of the factors that multiracial women felt affected their experiences were from their families, neighborhood, school environment, social media, and work environment. This research study aims to report the different influences of multiracial women's experiences with their racial identity.
