Research on this subject reveals that during this time there was much upheaval in society during the equalizing process which the Communist government implemented. Many basic traditions were erased, and new philosophies of life were implemented. Every aspect of society and culture was effected: education, business, political and family life. Families were disrupted and many lives destroyed. This thesis looks at how the subject dealt with these changes, how the political events changed her life, and how her attitudes to life changed.
