This research aimed to determine the effect of a psycho-educational program on stress levels of Kuwait parents with children diagnosed with ADHD. This research is classified as experimental type, using a 2x2 mixed factorial design with the intervention pretest and posttest. The sample consisted in 40 randomly selected couples, all having one common factor (an ADHD child). From the 40 couples, 20 couples were randomly selected to participate in the psycho-educational program. The instrument utilize was the Parenting Stress Index fourth edition (PSI-4) created by Dr. Richard R. Abidin. The data was processed with the SPSS version 20.0. The results indicated that the group that participated in the psycho-educational program decreased their stress levels in all areas, noting that this improvement is reflected in the levels of general stress, determining the existence of statistically significant differences ( p < .05), thereby demonstrating that the psycho-educational program was effective in significantly reducing the levels of parental stress in Kuwaiti parents of ADHD children. Statistically significant differences according to the age and gender of the parents were detected, as well as according to the age and gender of the children.
