School wellness policies and national initiatives promote general health, including the promotion of physical activity. The following thesis examined the actions taken by one school with regards to the promotion of physical activity among the students and families as a result of school wellness policies or national initiatives. Socioeconomics and adult modeling both played a role in the success of the students and families being physically active during school, as well as before and after school.
