The effects of a behavioral coaching package, including video modeling, video feedback, and verbal instruction with use of task analysis, was investigated on the proper kicking form in soccer in athletes aged 8 to 11 years old. Results showed an improvement in the kicking form with the use of the intervention package compared to baseline among all participants. This study provided a demonstration of the effectiveness of a behavioral coaching package as a potential training tool for soccer coaches.
