At-risk students from Dew Valley Academy attend a mandatory summer school program without a consistent curriculum. This synthesis project was created to provide a reading curriculum for the low-ability level students entering seventh and eighth grade. The curriculum was evaluated through a survey by thirteen professionals who work in the field of education. These professionals all agreed that the curriculum should be implemented in summer school and could improve student learning.
