This thesis paper details the conception, writing, shooting, and post phases involved in producing a trailer for a feature film in hopes of raising funds to shoot the actual film. Inside you will find a detailed guide to crafting a script for a trailer based on a feature length treatment and how to take that script and shoot everything you need to create a marketable feature trailer. I shot my own trailer based off of original work and detailed the process from the perspective of a producer. In this paper you will find the original treatment, trailer script, budget and schedule used to complete the process. It is my hope that by reading this that you will be able to understand the way in which you can begin producing content now rather than waiting for Hollywood to greenlight your unknown project.
