Through qualitative research done using Content Analysis, The Delphi Technique and Media Analysis, this dissertation focuses on social change documentaries and their creators/producers, whose works were created to shed light on a particular issue and start a social movement for a better world.

This dissertation looks at the new tools emerging in Interactive Documentaries that allow producers to become an advocate for change through social Interactive Documentary. And, this dissertation provides a set of processes(social media, documentary and design) that can be used to develop and assess the value and effects of social change documentaries.
