In this project, an introduction to vehicular network history is provided first. The next section is assigned to vehicular networks applications. Several applications in different papers and documents have been proposed so far. I collected and aggregated all these applications, along with a complete description of each, in this section.

520 $a In this project, an introduction to vehicular network history is provided first. The next section is assigned to vehicular networks applications. 520 $a Then, this technology is elaborated from different points of view. First, security issues of this system are studied in detail. In this part, I aggregated all possible cyber-attacks in relation to vehicular networks, and explained how this system can be secured.
520 $a The next section includes a complete explanation of push-based and pull-based query methods and some vehicular networks applications that can use these query methods. I presented a related SQL query for each of these applications, in this part.
520 $a In the last part, I simulated and implemented one of the most important applications in vehicular networks, "traffic optimization" using SQL query and Java code.
