This project evaluates the theory and practical application of the Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) risk assessment and management process in a product design and fabrication environment. The project defines a method for training personnel in the use of DFMEA and deploying it into a pre-existing design process.

The central goal of this project is to develop the structures and methods for eliminating those defects through the development and implementation of rigorous DFMEA processes that are integrated into the design steps.
