As entrepreneurship becomes an increasingly important part of our economic system, the ways in which entrepreneurs learn to create innovative solutions to business challenges remains unclear (Ravasi & Turati, 2005; Rae & Carswell, 2000). In addition, much of the current research focuses on the lone entrepreneur as the unit of analysis; however, recent work suggests the importance of the entrepreneurial team to venture success (Chowdhury, 2005; Forbes et al., 2006). This research uses qualitative case study to explore with five seed phase entrepreneurial teams, how they learned to create innovative solutions to business challenges. This research is relevant to those engaging in entrepreneurial ventures and those who develop or facilitate entrepreneurial learning programs.
