The rapid progress of technology has impacted many people around the world. A new generation such as iGeneration is being raised around constant connectivity. Consequently, they have to frequently multitask in order to keep up with technological norms in their society. Hall (1959) indicated that some cultures are more efficient and have a preference in handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Time orientation behavior will have an effect on people's multitasking skills within their cultures. There were three primary purposes of the present study. The first was to offer empirical evidence on the relationship between time use preference and multitasking skills. The second was to investigate the relationship between time use preference and state anxiety levels. The third was to investigate the relationship between daily media usage and multitasking skills. The results showed that there were no differences in cognitive abilities, state anxiety levels and daily media usage.
