This master's project explores Asian international college students and acculturative stressors. The literature reviewed suggests that this population encounters stressors due to acculturation and upholds the need for specific supports and services on United States college and university campuses. The proposed application provides a psychoeducational support group for Asian international students to create meaningful relationships and find support with acculturative stressors. The support group is formatted using reality therapy and incorporates setting and obtaining goals to aid in student success. A Peer-Mentor program is linked with the support group to encourage interaction with American students as well. The proposed support group and Peer-Mentor program are aimed at creating a supportive environment for Asian international students while promoting self-advocacy and meaningful relationships.
