This study investigated MA TESOL students' perspectives on and experiences with group work. Eight MA TESOL students in a mid-sized state university in the northeastern United States from seven countries were separated to two focus group discussions to share their information about topic. The data was coded according the issues of culture, language, timing, assessment and misunderstandings and forms used in group work. The results indicated that group work was contextual, individual and long-term cultivated. The study also indicated that the interactions among both students and professors were crucial in group work.
