Thesis (Ph.D.)--Alliant International University, 2014.
One hundred incarcerated youth, ranging in age between 13 and 17 years, were administered survey material to assess issues they may be dealing with in regard to trauma. Participants were administered the TSCC-A, PHQ-15, and a brief demographics survey. Individual scores on the measures were analyzed for significance across identified cultures. The results of the analysis suggest there are no significant differences in individuals, based on their culture, with regard to how they deal with trauma. Limitations of the study and suggestions for further research are discussed.
