The purpose of this phenomenological study is to understand the impacts of changing the Physical Fitness Program for United States Air Force (USAF) military members. The study captured the personal and professional opinions of 10 military members at an Air Force Base, in Colorado. This study incorporated one-on-one semi-structured interviews. The researcher used a modified version of van Kaam's qualitative data analysis to identify various themes from the data, as it pertains to the impact of the program change. The eight primary themes identified are: organizational change, organizational culture, program design, program management, program effectiveness, cost, management oversight, and manpower impact. The data analysis revealed that the participants identified negative impacts for a majority of the themes and the summary by the researcher addressed limitations and implications of the study.
