Thesis (M.S.)--Utica College, 2014.
The development of Cyber Counterintelligence has come to the forefront of counterintelligence. The pervasive use of cyberspace for espionage and other nefarious activities made the use of cyber by counterintelligence imperative. The blending of the two unique skill sets of cyber and counterintelligence brings various complexities and challenges to training. This body of research explores counterintelligence disciplines and cyber training in an effort to understand the role each brings in terms of Cyber Counterintelligence. The research examines the complicated and dynamic cyber training requirements of the Cyber Counterintelligence community in conducting cyber investigations, collections and analytics. The research culminates in a recommendation of a cyber training model and proficiency path. This body of research will allow others to examine Cyber Counterintelligence and conduct further research.
