The purpose of this project is the crafting a cross-genre, redemptive screenplay titled, Indefinity; a fantasy/drama built upon a science-fiction story foundation with an historical framework. Specifically, it is a modern time travel story that utilizes current quantum physics theory, along with a fictional Scripture-based notion concerning the literal power of the Word, enabling the spirits of travelers from the present to inhabit the bodies of persons in the past. The screenplay considers several questions. Does time exist or is it merely the cognitive by-product of man's self-awareness? Is time like a book that holds the day-pages of each individual life pathway along with the cumulative history of physical existence since the universe was created, possibly to infinity itself? How would any resulting change affect the future? Is it locked into a static, immutable predestination or is it fluid, malleable and vulnerable to the influence of chance or man's will?
