The purpose of this study was to determine if an online learning readiness survey (OLRS) is predictive of successful course completion in an online adult secondary learning program. Specifically, this study sought to determine whether a 5-factor online learning readiness survey accurately predicted course completion and non-completion. The data were compiled from participants' responses on the 25-item OLRS. The results of the logistic regression analysis indicate the OLRS is an accurate predictor of non-completion (90.6%) but not an accurate predictor of completion (17.9%). The results suggest that the OLRS is well-suited to identify learners who are "at-risk" in the online learning environment but not as a method to identify who is most likely to be successful in online learning.
