Thesis (M.S.W.)--California State University, Long Beach, 2013.
The purpose of this project was to write a grant to obtain funding for a peer-to-peer psychoeducational support group for teen dating violence. This support group would be conducted at the East Los Angeles Women's Center. The East Los Angeles Women's Center, a provider of domestic violence services since 1976, has been on the forefront to bringing awareness for teen dating violence. The Ronya and George Kozmetsky Foundation was chosen as the funder for this grant proposal. The Ronya and George Kozmetsky Foundation is rooted in supporting innovative projects that advance the knowledge of individuals in health, education and human services. The actual submission and/or funding of this grant was not required for successful completion of this thesis project.
