This site analysis is comprised of many components including natural, cultural, and aesthetic factors. These factors provide valuable information for determining potential site use. The study examines geological and hydrogeological elements of Hoya Soccer Complex and the climate records of the surrounding area. Soil samples were collected from Hoya soccer fields for nutrient analysis by the Stephen F. Austin State University Agriculture Soils Laboratory. Fertilizer and liming recommendations were developed based on soil test results. Woody vegetation inside and bordering the park was identified and a turf maintenance program has been recommended.

Historical records of the property, past and present land use and traffic patterns in and around the park were also analyzed. Recommendations have been made for sidewalk adjustments and addition of light post around the property. Last of all the study looks at the aesthetic factors and makes recommendation that would add to beautification of the area.
