Thesis (Ph.D.)--New Mexico State University, 2013.
Traditionally, the majority of research about counseling minorities has focused on ethnicity and acculturation, and recently level of therapeutic alliance has received more attention. Thus far, few studies have analyzed the impact of ethnicity and acculturation on therapeutic bond. This study examines how client and counselor ethnicity and level of acculturation relate to therapeutic bond.
