提要:合歡山地區附近高山箭竹林雖棲地及氣侯等環境條件嚴苛, 卻成為冰河孓遺山椒魚重要避難所, 發現有保育類野生動物台灣山椒魚及楚南氏山椒魚分布, 目前僅少量族群被發現於合歡山及能高山等中部之高山地區, 其生活息性隱密及數量稀少, 目前生態基礎影像資料缺乏, 透過本案可詳細紀錄其生活史、棲地等影像達到環境教育目的。
