The purpose of this study is to determine whether the changes to the business core curriculum solved the College's transferability problems. Accordingly, the following question will be addressed: Are the Valley Forge courses being accepted for their corresponding courses? Are they being taken for elective courses? Are they not being accepted at all? This data will be organized to measure if there currently is a successful transferability of the courses in the business curriculum.

During the 1990-1991 academic year the Business Administration department of the Valley Forge Military Junior College proposed curricular changes to the school's administration. The changes were in response to the problem of non-transferability of business courses to certain four year institutions. Some business core courses were unacceptable for transfer to various colleges. For example, Small Business Management, Money and Banking, Consumer Economics and Business Law II were rejected by schools because they had eliminated these courses from their curriculums.

Core business courses at Valley Forge were trimmed down to include only those that would transfer to most schools. The remaining core courses for the business administration degree were Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, and Introduction to Business.
