In Taiwan, the vocational education environment is very competitive, especially for private technical colleges. However, students also lack enough information to select an ideal college as they want or as they need. The purpose of this study is to explore key factors that influence students in the selection at a particular private technical college from the enormous number of alternatives. As a result of this study, private schools may realize why students choose one particular private school over another then make any changes deemed appropriate to enhance enrollment. Then, recruiters or administrators can realize what students needs would be to make a better recruiting condition. However, students with limited resources may choose a particular private technical college, school part should take the responsibility to understand what factors appear to be most important things to be taking care of, such as the type of programs offered, tuition, and financial aid may all affect student choice. Hence, the study will identify the college selection factors of greatest student concern. Determining these factors can guide administrators in policymaking, and also provide students a path that maximizes time usage in the decision-making process to attend an ideal technical college in Taiwan.
