Thesis (M.A.)--University of South Alabama, 2003.
The purpose of this study is to identify what types of support corporations formerly housed in the World Trade Center (WTC) offered to their employees following the events of September 11, 2001. Further, the study examines trends in the types of support offered in the one-year period following the attack. A test analysis of nine WTC corporations provides a rich medium from which to conduct the study. The findings suggest that a model for organizational coping following a catastrophic event would entail six primary types of support for at least a one-year period.Subjects--Topical Terms:
