Thesis (M.S.)--West Virginia University, 2003.

Approved clinical instructors (ACI) and athletic training students (ATS) were observed in the clinical learning environment over six observation sessions to correlate frequency/duration of observed behaviors with perceived behaviors and analyze clinical instruction behavior frequency/duration trends. The Clinical Instruction Analysis Tool-Athletic Training II and BEST software was utilized. Skill Feedback: Evaluative and Skill Feedback: Descriptive indicated strong ACI correlations. Screening and Evaluative Technique: Manipulation and Documentation indicated strong ATS correlations. Frequency and duration R<super>2</super> values were not higher than 0.39. Individuals within the clinical learning environment are unaware of the behaviors they exhibit, as there was a low degree of relationship between time and behavior.Subjects--Topical Terms:
