In this qualitative, exploratory study, the professional development of novice Interior Designers living in Winnipeg, Canada was explored. The literature for continuing professional development was reviewed and provided a framework for developing the focussed interview questions and a guide for the content analysis of the resulting data. Six novice Interior Designers and one expert Interior Designer were interviewed.
