Development of China's high-tech industry has been outstanding in the past decades. Such dramatic development can be attributed to a number of high-tech parks in China. Zhongguancun is the most eminent high-tech park currently in China.

520 $a Development of China's high-tech industry has been outstanding in the past decades. Such dramatic development can be attributed to a number of high-tech parks in China. Zhongguancun is the most eminent high-tech park currently in China.
520 $a In this thesis, based on the topic of sustainable development of Zhongguancun, I examine this high-tech park in terms of financial resources, technology resources, environment resources and human resources through a diamond model.
520 $a As it turns out, although considered as the top high-tech park in China, Zhongguancun has problems in three areas: human resource, financing and technological innovation. Because these factors are key determinants of sustainable development of high-tech park, it calls for regional government's immediate action and continuous dedication to solve these problems. Solutions are provided in the summary chapter. It is worth emphasizing that regional government should keep an eye on the development of other factors once the factors above have been improved. These factors include environmental protection and workplace sanitation and safety.
