An exploratory single-case study method was chosen to conduct this research. Qualitative, in-depth interviews were conducted at McDonald's-Beijing Food Corporation to collect data. Based on the literature review, data collected from interviews, and analysis and synthesis of data, the conclusion was reached that the U.S. training system can be utilized in a Chinese context with minor modifications to fit local characteristics.
