Thesis (D.Min.)--Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology, 2004.
This D. Min, project consisted of creating, implementing, and evaluating a college-level biblical studies course integrating Scripture and the arts. The theoretical research attempted to define "biblical imagination," describe how it functions, and relate it to adult faith development. It also attempted to validate the role of the arts in cultivating biblical imagination. The insights of Paul Ricoeur, William Lynch, James Fowler, Richard Viladesau and Howard Gardner provided the major framework for this part of the study.
