Three choreographic projects were produced and performed at the Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theater on the California State University, Long Beach, campus in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Department of Dance's Master of Fine Arts degree program. Still Counting, a six-minute solo, was performed 21--24 February 2002. Der Bose Garten, an eighteen-minute, multimedia collaboration with composer Mark Irons, was performed 3--5 October 2002. Cross-Eyed & Naked, an eighteen-minute dance for seven dancers, was performed 20--23 February 2003.

520 $a In Still Counting (2002), counting gestures were explored to express an abstract idea. Der Bose Garten (2002) was inspired by the drawings of Edward Gorey and incorporated vocalization, movement, and live music. Cross-Eyed & Naked (2003) was an allegorical study in word play set to alternative country music. This project report describes the processes employed to execute the three choreographic works.
