Thesis (M.A.)--Pacific Lutheran University, 1995.
This qualitative thesis explores the interactions between the roles played by student, teacher, curriculum and environment in the hopes of gauging their impact on the learning process. The relational orientation is traced through multiple case studies formed from student portfolios and anecdotal information throughout one school year. The conclusions reached by this corpus of work are centrally based in chaos theory and argue that learning is best enhanced when flexibility and spontaneity are the modes of the day.Subjects--Topical Terms:
