The information age has contributed to our ability to reduce the physicality of tools while increasing their capacity to perform a multiplicity of functions. As miniaturization of technology continues to improve, work productivity will increase, leading to a broader mobile pattern. In turn, this will result in a more mobile workforce and a more mobile character of operations.

When future mobility of work becomes more ubiquitous, work will assimilate itself into a more dynamic action, one that is fluid in its movements and more adaptive to its conditions. Work will equate to mobility and mobility will inform us with a different and informal strategy of work. It is a strategy of reduction, diversity, advancement, and empowerment.
