The study investigated perceptions of full-time nursing faculty towards the development of an online entry-level BSN program. The Deans from three universities provided the names and contact information of the full time nursing faculty members. Online surveys sent, via email, determined issues of feasibility, and perceptions by classroom faculty towards an entry-level online BSN program. The major themes of each group were determined for follow up studies. Numerical values assigned to the data allowed for a statistical analysis. The study provided a basis for future research of an online entry-level baccalaureate nursing program since no previous research was conducted on this educational approach.
