Findings from the study revealed that students who participated in Upward Bound integrated very well at their respective schools and were able to graduate. Other results revealed that students who participated in precollege programs such Upward Bound performed better than non-Upward Bound students and that participation in Upward Bound may have had a direct correlation to college retention and degree attainment. Recommendations for further research are made in Chapter 5.
