Recently translation has emerged as a significant medium through which nations can recognize and understand each other, civilizations can assemble and communicate, and individuals can get an access to knowledge they have no other way to. In our global small world, translation resembles a mirror where one can reflect upon the self and a window to look through at other civilizations and cultures. To this contextual frame, my dissertation pertains. It is an attempt to introduce an Arabic text to English speakers.
