The need to support informal caregivers of older adults in their caregiving role will become increasingly important as the nation's population ages. This program evaluation examined the degree to which the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, AAA Family Caregiver Support Center (FCSC) is fulfilling its stated goals in support of caregivers in a three county region of Colorado encompassing El Paso, Teller and Park counties. Archival data from the agency data base was examined as well as information gathered from interviews of caregiver clients of the agency. The data was evaluated in order to assess the extent to which the FCSC is fulfilling Title III Older Americans Act legislation and the State of Colorado funding mandates and supportive legislation.
