This paper walks the reader through the development and implementation stages associated with the building of the College of Saint Benedict's (CSB) student health center. The entire process resembles a road map with various barriers, detours, and delays, but a fully functional and operating college student health center remains the final destination. The journey includes challenges and opportunities that are highlighted from a staff perspective as the culture of the Counseling and Health Promotion department at CSB settles into their new home, and the transformation of a new sector of the department, health services, emerges. The literature review will describe relevant concepts and theories supported by research and the analysis section will provide methods of integrations from various courses within the Masters of Arts in Management (MAM) curriculum developed by the College of Saint Scholastica.
