This book provides an updated comprehensive review of the FNA cytology of superficial neoplastic and non-neoplastic disease processes obtained by percutaneous ultrasound guidance. Selected video clips are intended to illustrate the most salient US findings of common entities and the methodology to appropriately harvest adequate material for diagnosis and performance of ancillary tests. The most current World Health Organization classifications of tumors of thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary glands, breast, and lymph nodes are included in the corresponding chapters, and they are followed to complement the cytomorphology and ancillary tests of the described entities.
