Four choreographic works were produced as part of the Master of Arts in Dance, Option in Dance Education, degree program at California State University, Long Beach: <italic>Shared Paths</italic> (5 minutes), <italic>Unforeseen Union</italic> (7.5 minutes), <italic>In Lakech</italic> (4 minutes), and <italic> Lucid Awakening</italic> (4.75 minutes). In addition, dance costumes and lights were designed for one student-choreographed piece. The works were performed at the Santa Rosa Junior College Burbank Auditorium from 13 April through 14 April 2001.

520 $a <italic>Shared Paths</italic>, choreographed by the candidate, explored intimate connections between two people journeying through life. <italic> Unforeseen Union</italic>, choreographed by the candidate, investigated interactions within a group. <italic>In Lakech</italic>, choreographed by junior college student Bo Estrella, strove to reflect a sense of equality among humanity. <italic> Lucid Awakening</italic>, choreographed by junior college student Jennifer Babcock, addressed ego-driven behavior and the liberation of spirit. Costumes and lights were designed for <italic>Lucid Awakening</italic>.
